moving items
Tip #1
Always use professional moving boxes and packing materials.
The last thing you need when you come to unpack your unit is to find that your belongings have been damaged due to sagging boxes, disintegrating shopping bags and duffel bags with corroded zippers. Use professional packing materials that are purpose-built to withstand conditions in storage. Talk to our team about the right materials for your items.

Always store items off the ground and away from unit walls.
Even in the best of storage units, climate changes cause water vapour in the air to condense and run down the walls of storage units and damp to rise from the floor. To ensure your items stay safe, store them off the ground and away from the walls of your unit.
Tip #3
Pack strategically, label boxes and keep an inventory.
List the contents of each box on the box itself (stick-on labels might peel off) to ensure you know what is in it and keep an inventory of the boxes and their contents as you pack them into your unit. That way, you won’t have to search every box just to find one item. Pack strategically with items you are least likely to need access to at the back and those that you will need to access regularly near the front of your unit.
